Our firm has developed an extensive regulatory counseling practice providing advice to clients on the myriad of current and emerging environmental requirements. Advice is provided in the context of regulatory compliance, permitting, brownfields, real estate and business transactions, and enforcement actions. Guidance is also provided in performing environmental audits and developing corporate environmental policies and procedures.
A substantial portion of the firm's practice involves environmental litigation before administrative tribunals and in federal and state courts. The firm vigorously defends its clients in a broad variety of enforcement actions, appeals of agency determinations and Superfund cases, and has also brought and defended private cost recovery actions arising under Superfund and state law and toxic tort suits. It also maintains an active alternative dispute resolution practice.
