Welcome to Buchanan DiMasi Dancy
BDDG has the legal skill and sophistication of a large firm but its
nimble size allows it to tailor services to the precise needs of each client
without the big firm cost. At BDDG, the
client comes first. Our attorneys listen
to what clients need and when they need it, because timing is often
critical. We know that clients seek reliable information to make well-informed decisions, so communication is key. The firm prides itself on learning its
clients’ business and goals to facilitate efficient and creative
resolution—whether at the courthouse or in the privacy of negotiations. The firm’s clients include businesses and
individuals who have never before employed a lawyer as well as international
companies with the most experienced in-house trial counsel.
Clients’ Needs Come First
In 2003, several
partners left an elite Texas law firm to pursue their vision for a new firm now
known as Buchanan DiMasi Dancy & Grabouski LLP (BDDG). The firm is
comprised of former big-firm lawyers who know the importance of client service.
have extensive experience handling all sizes of disputes. Whenever possible,
early resolution is sought. When not possible, positioning clients for trial is
the primary goal, while always leaving open the door to reasonable settlement.
The Business of Handling
BDDG knows that
one size does not fit all—different clients, different disputes, and different
businesses command different strategies. The attorneys at BDDG have more than
eighty years of combined legal experience. The firm partners are licensed in
federal and state courts in Texas as well as Oklahoma (Britt Buchanan) and New
Mexico (Blair Dancy). The firm approaches jury and bench trials, arbitrations,
mediations, and negotiations with creativity and the expertise to obtain the
best results possible.
Professionalism, Respect, and
These values are
hallmarks of BDDG. From early in their careers, the firm partners have
participated in a full range of activities to hone their skills and serve their
community. From law journal editorial boards to teaching research and writing,
from prestigious clerkships for federal and appellate courts to substantial
volunteerism, the firm’s service to the legal and local communities also
includes leadership roles with local, state, and national bar associations,
professional organizations and boards. In addition, our attorneys routinely
publish articles and speak at the local, state and national levels.
combined experience includes primary responsibility in trials involving
significant damages in dispute. The firm maintains the philosophy that lead
attorneys are at their best when involved in all aspects of litigation. When
necessary, the firm offers flexible staffing options, bringing in additional
lawyers and paralegals that are part of the firm’s extensive contacts in the
legal industry—whether the needs are additional research and writing
capabilities from former appellate clerks or massive document reviews by trained
paralegals. The firm also aggressively uses electronic document management
processes to keep the overall cost of litigation to a minimum.
