Cunningham, Bounds, LLC was founded in 1958 by Robert T. Cunningham and Richard Bounds as a local general practice. The firm has represented plaintiffs exclusively since 1973. Throughout the firm's history, its members have championed individual rights, led the fight to protect the right to trial by jury and participated at all levels of national, state and local civic and professional organizations, including the Inner Circle of Advocates, International Academy of Trial Lawyers, International Society of Barristers, American College of Trial Lawyers, National Board of Trial Advocacy, American Board of Trial Advocates, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America, The Alabama Association for Justice, and Inns of Court.
Today, the firm continues its tradition of excellence in business and complex litigation. Its attorneys represent victims in cases involving catastrophic injury caused by work related accidents, defective products, truck and automobile accidents, medical malpractice and aviation accidents. The firm also has expertise in national and state class action litigation involving defective products and consumer fraud.
Because of the results the firm has achieved through litigation, products have become safer, medical procedures have become more reliable, safety policies have been implemented, and countless individuals have received just compensation for their injuries.
