Maintaining the integrity of the legal profession is a primary
goal of the firm, and all of the lawyers are actively involved in the Virginia
State Bar (VSB) and local bar association functions. Kelly serves on the VSB Council
and is past-Chair of the Judicial Candidate Evaluation Committee. Byrnes is a two-time
past-Chair of the 5th District Disciplinary Committee and a former member of
the Judicial Candidate Evaluation Committee. He currently provides pro bono services through the Attorney of the
Day Program. Danker serves as the president-elect of the Board of Governors for
the VSB Young Lawyers Conference; she is also a member of the 5th
District Disciplinary Committee and Virginia’s Young Lawyer Delegate to the
American Bar Association’s House of Delegates. Luu is on the Board of Directors
of the Asian Pacific Bar Association of Virginia and was the Co-Chair of that
association’s Judicial Nominations Committee. O'Brien, both the 19th Judicial Circuit's Representative on the Young Lawyers Conference and the athletics chair of the VSB annual meeting, was a panel member at the George Mason University Family Law Society, and mentored students at the Loudoun County Bar Association's Leadership in the Law camp.
