Van Osselaer Dispute Resolution PLLC, led by founding principal Paul Van Osselaer, specializes in the mediation and arbitration of insurance coverage, bad faith and risk transfer disputes around the country. Paul has mediated coverage and indemnity disputes of all types and sizes and his mediation training includes AAA Advanced Mediator Training on multi-party cases. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the invitation-only International Academy of Mediators, has earned admission to the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, and has achieved the rank of “Credentialed Distinguished Mediator,” the highest credential of the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association.
Paul is a long-time coverage lawyer, former vice-chair of the ABA’s Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee and former co-chair of the Bad Faith Subcommittee. He is currently a co-chair of its ADR Subcommittee.
Paul is listed in Best Lawyers in America® in Insurance Law and is repeatedly named a “Super Lawyer®,” with listings in both ADR and Insurance Coverage. He is also a frequent speaker at legal and risk management seminars, including the ABA, Mealey’s and RIMS, on the mediation and settlement of coverage disputes. Paul is a 1975 graduate of University of Texas School Of Law, recipient of its Faculty Service Award, and Past-President of its Alumni Association.
